80th anniversary of D-Day & the Battle of Normandy

Events you won't want to miss!

In 2024, Normandy is preparing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. It's a time of emotion, reflection and commemoration, as we pay tribute to the sacrifices of the soldiers and civilians who helped restore freedom to Europe.

In the heart of this historic region, our hotel in Bagnoles-de-l'Orne stands as a silent witness to history. Nestled between lush green forests and the peaceful shores of the lake, it offers a warm refuge and an ideal base from which to explore the emblematic sites of the D-Day landings.

Below is a list of events taking place in the area surrounding our hotel.

  • Bagnoles de l'Orne - The "Vestiges of War" tour.

During the Second World War, the Andaines forest was used by the German army as a crucial storage area. This trail starts right next to our establishment.
